Who We Are

About SPHERE

SPHERE Consulting

Services for Public Health, Environment, Research, and Education

SPHERE Consulting, formerly Services for Public Health and Research, was founded in 2012 with a mission to drive innovation in Pakistan's health sector. As a public health consulting firm, we utilize data to generate valuable insights and inform implementation and on-the-ground service delivery.

While addressing local health needs, we also contribute to the global health agenda. Since 2022, SPHERE has broadened its vision to include education and environment into its core work, as these areas are directly and indirectly related to human health and well-being.

We have collaborated with various stakeholders, including provincial health departments, district health officers, and community health workers, which has provided us with invaluable opportunities to design and implement evidence-based solutions to improve the health system.

Our Core Pillars

What drives our approach to public health consulting

Data-Driven Insights

We are committed to understanding real-world healthcare challenges, identifying trends, and addressing complex issues in healthcare service delivery. We employ quantitative and qualitative data to inform our approach and aim to make a lasting impact through evidence-based decision-making.

People-Centric Healthcare

To ensure a sustainable impact, we keep people at the forefront of our work. Every insight, analysis, and finding is directed towards improving and promoting individual health. We are committed to centering people in all our efforts, empowering communities, and enabling them to take charge of their health.

Community Development

Health is vital for individuals, communities, and society as a whole. Achieving community health involves active community involvement and collaboration with various stakeholders. Education and public health are closely connected; education can lead to better public health outcomes.

Humanitarian Approaches

Our work extends beyond healthcare services. At SPHERE, we aim to improve society and communities through community development and humanitarian efforts. Our organization is dedicated to providing relief and medical aid to those affected by natural and man-made disasters.

Environmental Impact Acknowledgement

Climate change is a significant global public health threat, disproportionately affecting the poorest populations. SPHERE acknowledges that environmental risks can harm human health both directly and indirectly, including through extreme weather events, rising sea levels, disease transmission, food insecurity, undernutrition, and displacement.

Our mission is guided by a commitment to equity, evidence, and innovation. We work at the intersection of research and practice, ensuring that every program, every study, and every intervention is designed to create meaningful, measurable change for the people who need it most.

A Healthier, More Equitable Pakistan

SPHERE envisions a Pakistan where every individual, regardless of their socioeconomic status, geographic location, or gender, has access to high-quality health services and education — and where data and evidence drive every decision in the health system.

We see a future where communities are empowered to take charge of their own health, where health systems are resilient and responsive, and where Pakistan's contribution to the global health agenda is recognized and celebrated. Since 2022, our vision has expanded to encompass education and environmental health as inseparable components of overall human well-being.
