The project focused on strengthening midwifery as a profession in Punjab by developing an enhanced, competency-based curriculum aligned with maternal and newborn health needs. It also established a structured career progression pathway, outlining professional roles, growth opportunities, and development milestones to support midwives' professional advancement and improve the quality of maternal healthcare services.
